Three months later, the main auditorium at the City Civic Center was packed with over five hundred business leaders, city officials, and international journalists.
Behind the podium stood a massive backdrop bearing a sleek, modern logo: MORETTI HERITAGE FOUNDATION.
Khloe stood behind the microphone. Her demeanor was radiant, her poise absolute.
"For generations," Khloe spoke into the microphone, her voice carrying warmth and authority across the silent hall, "this city’s corporate world was driven by secrecy, arrogance, and the belief that power excuses cruelty. Today, that era ends."
Applause broke out across the front rows, led by the city's newly appointed medical board and public health directors.
"Moretti Heritage is committing fifty million dollars to establish the Maya Moretti Maternal and Pediatric Health Center," Khloe announced, a soft smile gracing her lips. "A state-of-the-art facility dedicated to ensuring that every mother and child—regardless of their background or status—receives elite, uncompromised care and protection."
In the front row, all five Moretti brothers sat together.
Dominic, Julian, Gabriel, Matteo, and Nico wore matching dark charcoal suits. For the first time in their lives, they weren't standing in the shadows or managing security behind closed doors. They were standing openly behind their sister, proudly watching her step into her full power as the matriarch of the family's new legacy.
When Khloe finished her speech, the entire room rose to its feet in a standing ovation.
Khloe walked down the stage steps, where Dominic held out his hand to guide her.
