Chapter 19 - THE UNBROKEN FAMILY

That evening, the Blackwood estate hosted a quiet family dinner.
The long mahogany table was no longer a place of lonely silence. Lilianna sat at one end, Victor at the other, with Ethan sitting proudly in a big-boy chair between them, chatterbox-talking about his soccer goals while baby Victoria slept peacefully in her crib in the adjoining sunroom.
Mikhail and the senior household staff joined them at the table—a tradition Lilianna had introduced to ensure that everyone who protected their home felt like part of the family.
"A toast," Victor declared, standing up and raising his crystal glass.
Everyone at the table raised their glasses.
"To the woman who saved my son, healed my heart, and built an empire out of love," Victor said, his dark eyes locking onto Lilianna with eternal devotion. "To my wife, Lilianna."
"To Mrs. Blackwood!" the table echoed in unison.

Lilianna smiled, her heart swelling with a warmth so deep it washed away every scar from her past. The cold orphanage, the fake names, the fear, the pain on the marble floor—all of it had been the fiery furnace that forged her into the woman she was today.
She looked at her husband, her son, and her daughter, knowing with absolute certainty that no storm in the world could ever tear down the sanctuary they had built.
