Chapter 15 - The Voice of Justice

A piercing digital tone echoed through the study, followed by a crisp, automated computer response: “Secure transmission established. Live federal dispatch routing active. Location confirmed: 442 Pine Creek Lane.”

Outside the windows, the quiet night air was suddenly shattered by the thunderous roar of helicopter rotors descending from the clouds. Searchlights cut through the glass panes, painting the room in brilliant, blinding white. Sirens wailed from the perimeter as a dozen tactical vehicles swarmed the property, smashing through the front gates.

“Federal agents! Drop your weapons!” a voice boomed through a megaphone outside.

The two masked men froze, their hands dropping instantly to their sides as federal marshals poured through the open doors, subduing them within seconds.

Judge Harrison stood frozen in the center of the study, his cane clattering to the floor as heavy steel handcuffs were snapped onto his wrists. He looked toward the ceiling, realizing that the automated broadcast had already transmitted his confession and presence to every federal server in the country.

The untouchable judge was finally within reach of the law.
