Chapter 10 - A NEW COMPOSITION

That evening, the chaotic noise of the city fell away.
The sun set in shades of deep amber and gold over the quiet terrace of Julian's private penthouse apartment overlooking the river.
Inside the spacious living room, a magnificent grand piano sat bathed in the warm light of the fireplace.
Julian sat on the leather bench, his arm wrapped around Maya’s shoulders as she leaned against him. For the first time in twelve years, Julian looked at peace—the cold, cynical mask he had worn for a decade had completely melted away.
"What happens now?" Maya asked softly, looking up at her father. "To the company?"
"We clean it up," Julian said gently, brushing a strand of hair from her forehead. "We establish the Elena Vane Foundation for Independent Artists. We return her name to every piece of music they stole. And most importantly... I become the father I should have been twelve years ago."
Maya smiled—a bright, warm smile that mirrored her mother’s exactly.
She reached out her small hands to the ivory keys of the grand piano. This time, she didn't play The Winter Aria, with its haunting, melancholic chords of grief and separation.

She played a soft, rising melody—light, hopeful, and full of promise.
Julian smiled, placing his hands on the keys beside hers, joining in the harmony as the music swelled through the warm room, filling every corner with the sweet, unbreakable sound of a family finally reunited.
