Chapter 10 - THE UNTOUCHABLE HEIR
The boardroom erupted into frantic murmurs among the directors. Harrison’s face darkened, his jaw clenching tightly.
"That changes nothing about the child's legitimacy!" Harrison snapped, slamming his palm onto the table. "You have no proof that boy is Julian's son!"
"I don't need to prove it to you, Harrison," Daniel said smoothly. He nodded to Marcus, who opened the steel briefcase and pulled out a high-definition tablet, connecting it directly to the boardroom’s main wall monitors.
The screens lit up, displaying an official document stamped by the Federal High Court of London, accompanied by an authenticated DNA match performed by the Interpol Forensic Division.
"The DNA match was verified three weeks ago under federal supervision," Daniel announced, his voice echoing with absolute triumph over the stunned board. "Noah Julian Vance is 99.9% a direct match to my brother. And under Julian’s original, unsealed last will and testament..."
Daniel leaned across the table, looking directly into Harrison's terrified eyes.
"...I have been named sole legal guardian and executor of Noah’s trust until his twenty-first birthday. Which means I control seventy-two percent of the voting shares in this room."
Harrison stood up slowly, his face drained of all color as he realized his thirty-year plot to seize the company had shattered in a single morning.
"You can't do this, Daniel..." Harrison whispered, his voice trembling.
