Chapter 10 - THE GALA OF REBIRTH

Six months after the fateful night in the underground garage, the city’s grand exhibition hall hosted the annual Architecture and Urban Development Gala.
Four hundred prominent guests filled the ballroom—investors, city officials, journalists, and international designers.
Standing on the raised main stage under brilliant spotlights was Sienna, wearing an elegant dark sapphire gown. Her hair fell in soft waves over her shoulders, and on her lapel sat the silver Ferrante family pin—a gift from Nico.
Standing beside the stage were Nico, holding seven-year-old Mila, while Clara, the estate’s trusted head nanny, held baby Elena in her arms.
"Tonight," the Mayor announced into the microphone, "we present the Gold Medal for Civic Architecture to Mrs. Sienna Ferrante, for her groundbreaking work on the City Green Renewal Initiative!"
The entire ballroom erupted into thunderous applause. Flashbowls popped across the crowd as Sienna stepped up to the podium, accepting the heavy crystal award with steady, graceful hands.
She looked out at the sea of faces, then focused directly on her family standing beside the stage.
"Fourteen months ago," Sienna began, her voice echoing clearly through the auditorium speakers, "I thought my story was over. I thought that when dark shadows fall over your life, you simply have to endure them in silence."
The crowd hushed, listening intently to her words.
"But I learned that walls built on lies will always crumble under their own weight," Sienna continued, her eyes glistening with warm tears as she looked at Mila and Nico. "And that true strength isn't found in gold or titles—it is found in the courage of a little girl holding a phone, and a grandfather who chose truth over blood."
She raised the crystal award high into the air.
"This is for every person who is rebuilding their life from the foundation up. The light will always win."
The crowd stood up in a massive standing ovation, the cheers echoing off the high ceilings.

The dark nightmare of the past was finally defeated. Ahead of them lay only light, honor, and a bright new beginning.
